These terms and conditions apply to any order which you place through the Giftcart Ecommerce Private Limited's website at www.giftcart.com (the "website") for the products specifically listed below and apply in addition to our General Terms and Conditions of Sale & Service (The "Additional Terms").
The Additional Terms may be shown on product or service pages and product or service shopping cart or checkout pages along with the product/service description. As a customer, we advise you to ensure that you comply with these "Additional Terms" before completing a transaction.
When you order a product or service listed below, you must read these Additional Terms and Conditions of Sale & Service carefully. By placing an order through the website for the specific goods listed below, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to the applicable Additional Terms and Conditions of Sale & Service in their entirety as well as to our General Terms and Conditions of Sale & Service. These Additional Terms and Conditions of Sale & Service apply when you order any:
Flowers, Plants, Fruit Baskets and Gift Hampers
- Same day delivery: To assure same-day delivery, orders must be received before 1:00 pm. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day
- Next Day delivery: To assure next-day delivery, orders must be placed before 1:00 pm, to deliver your order the next day
- Fixed Time delivery: To request a specific delivery time, please mention the time while placing the order. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
- Mid Night delivery: Your order is delivered around midnight on the same date as mentioned by you in the calendar. Please select the date carefully while placing the order. For example: If in the calendar you choose the date 16th August then the delivery will be made between 11:30pm to 11:59pm on the 16th of August.
- Kindly allow for (+) (-) 10 - 15 minutes fluctuation in delivery timings.
- We deliver on Sundays also.
- The above product will be delivered only in the cities mentioned in the List of Serviceable Cities.
- We will attempt delivery of the items once. In case the delivery is not executed during the attempt, due to wrong address/recipient not available/premises locked, the customer shall still be charged for the order.
- No Deliveries are made on National Holidays.
- In case of floods/ Heavy Rains/ National Bandh we reserve the right to reschedule the delivery for another date and time.
- Correct and elaborate Address (landmark) and contact number is must of the recipient for placing the order.
- Please note that Flowers, Cakes and other perishable products are sourced locally at the delivery location. Every bouquet is personally hand-delivered and we make every effort to deliver your order as quickly as possible.
- The image displayed in indicative in nature. Actual product may vary in shape or design as per the availability.
- Substitution Policy: Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers are necessary due to temporary, seasonal or regional availability issues. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, the delivering outlet holds the right to substitute alternative products or services of equal or greater quality and value at no extra cost to you.
- Complaints: Due to the perishable nature of the products, like cake, flowers, fruit baskets, gourmet hampers, no claim/complaints of whatsoever nature under any circumstances will be tenable after 2 hours from the time of delivery. All such claims/complaints if any are to be raised within 2 hours of delivery /non delivery.
- Delivery to Hotels, Hostels, and Marriage & Banquet Halls: In case of delivery to Hotels, Hostels, Hospitals and Marriage or Banquet Halls please provide- - Full address of the Hotel / Hostel / Marriage or Banquet Halls - Room No. - Telephone number of the hotel. - Name of the tour company, if applicable. Important: Please note that some hostels do not allow the resident to receive flowers & food items. Please check with the hostel before placing your order.
- Delivery to Hospitals: In case of delivery to Hospitals please provide: -Full address of the hospital. -Ward number or name. -Home address of recipient with phone number. Important: > Some hospitals do not permit the patients to receive flowers and food items. Please check with the hospital before placing your order.
- Recipient Not Available: We will attempt delivery of the items once. If there is no one available at the shipping addresses (to accept the delivery of your order) at the time of delivery, the order will not be considered late or undelivered. Hence in such cases, no refunds, cancellations, liability can be made.
- Delivery to hotel, recipient not available: If the recipient has not checked in at the hotel on the delivery date, the order will be left at the reception & the order will be assumed as executed. If the person has checked out of the hotel by delivery date, the order will be assumed as executed & no refund will be made in such cases.
- Delivery to wedding ceremonies, recipient not available: For delivery of gift items to Wedding Ceremonies/ Marriage Halls, we may not be able to assure the delivery to the bride and/or bride-groom because of non-accessibility of our delivery team to the couple. However, we shall ensure that the delivery is made to one of the responsible member of host.
